REFLECTION

I enjoy this class very much. I have learned a lot. I was always bad at using computers before his class. Now I know how to make a PowerPoint, how to make a blog, and how to insert images to a work document. There really isn't anything I disliked about this class. I would advise a lot of people to take this class. This class not only teaches you about computers but is also makes people come out of their shell by expressing their self through their work. I hope we continue to learn new things.

HOW I FEEL ABOUT BLOGGING

I think blogging is very interesting. I never thought I would make a blog. I think it is a good way to express what interests you. I am not sure I will keep my own blog going but I know I will continue to look at other peoples blogs. You never know what good ideas you can get from a blog.

CLASS WITHOUT MY TEACHER

It can get very complicated sometimes when you are not here. When I have questions I have no one to ask. I do not concentrate well when I do not have the main teacher in the class. Sometimes the substitute is rude. I would much rather you be here I learn a lot more.

Italy


Italy is on the Italian peninsula between the Tyrrhenian Sea, Ionian Sea, Adriatic Sea, and Mediterranean Sea. The location is not all that makes Italy different. There is the unique culture, music, food, and history that makes Italy the country that it is. Location is only a small part. I can’t name a country like this one. Italy is special and here is why.
The culture of Italy involves the religion, architecture, language, and celebrations. The religion of Italy is mainly Roman Catholic. Most of the architecture is mainly under the Roman influence. The main language is Italian but some of the population speak French and German. The celebrations they have are mainly for Christmas and New Year. Independence Day is March 17and the Anniversary of the Republic is June second.
Italian music is based off of the earlier melodic form used for operas. Lately they have taken to other foreign influences. Some of these influences include pop, jazz, and rock. This gives Italian music more of a universal style. Most of their music still refers back to the melodic form. Francesco De Grego and Lucia Dalla keep the classic music alive.

 There are foods of Italy that many people know. They mainly know many pasta dishes, and pizza. There are also Risotto, Minestrone, Zuppa di Pesce, and Ossobucco. These dishes might not be as well-known as the others. A lot of these dishes contain fish or tomato sauce. Sounds yummy!

You’ve probably learned Italy’s history before. Various city-states and republics ruled the peninsula until the middle of the 19th century. The Etruscans were the first major power. Italy was first united politically under the Roman rule. Charlemagne restored order after the Roman Empire fell. Soon his rule fell and Italy became city-states once more. It became a part of the Spanish Inheritance when they went to take over Rome. Soon they were ready for the French Enlightenment.
As you can see, it is not just the location that makes Italy different. It is different from all the rest because of its culture, music, food, history, and so much more. The location also plays a part to. All of the things that contribute to this country make it what it is. There is no other like it. No other country is like this one that is in between four seas.

TWITTER

Twitter is a micro-blogging network of real-time posts that are limited to 140 characters or less. Tweeter today is focused more on what's going on in the world. When you set up a tweeter you can upload a picture to your profile.You can set privacy on your tweets so only then people you accept can see them. The hash tag symbol is used to mark searchable keywords or topics in a tweet. A retweet forwards someone else's tweet to your followers. Many people use tweeter today for many reasons.

FACEBOOK

Facebook is a social networking site that makes it easy to share with family and friends online. Many websites have worked to integrate Facebook. You can sign into many other services just by having a Facebook. You can send messages, post updates, and post pictures on your Facebook. You can also set your Facebook to private so only the people you accept can see your posts. Setting your Facebook to private helps keep your personal information safe. Facebook is more public then email and instant messaging.

SPORTS DOCUMENT/CLASS ACTIVITY

The 2013 LSU Tigers football team represented Louisiana State University in the2013 NCAA Division I FBS football season.  They were led by ninth year head coach Les Miles and played their home games at Tiger Stadium.  They were a member of the Western Division of the Southeastern

LSU entered the 2012 season as the defending SEC champion. The Tigers accumulated a conference record of 6–2, with losses on the road against the Florida Gators and at home to the eventual national champions, the Alabama Crimson Tide. After finishing the regular season with an overall record of 10–2, LSU was selected to play in the 2012 Chick-fil-A Bowl against the Clemson Tigers. LSU was defeated by Clemson on a last second field goal by a score of 25–24.

In February 2013, LSU announced that it had hired former Baltimore Ravensoffensive coordinator, Cam Cameron, for the same position. Cameron served as the Ravens' offensive coordinator for five seasons. Cameron served for a single season as the head coach of the Miami Dolphins prior to joining the Ravens' staff. Prior to that, Cameron was the offensive coordinator for five seasons for the San Diego Chargers. Cameron had also previously spent time as part of the staff for the Michigan Wolverinesalongside LSU head coach Les Miles for seven seasons from 1987 to 1993. Cameron will be replacing Greg Studrawa as LSU's offensive coordinator. Studrawa had spent the prior two seasons as offensive coordinator and offensive line coach. Studrawa was retained as the offensive line coach.

LSU’s mascot is Mike the Tiger and LSU’s fight song is “Fight for LSU.” The head coach is Les Miles. The home stadium is Tiger Stadium located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where the Tiger’s play all their home games. LSU’s colors are purple and gold. GEAUX TIGERS!!

SOCIAL MEDIA

Social media has changed a lot throughout the years. Social media are websites and applications that enable users to create and share content or participate in social networking. Today there are many ways to communicate to other people other than using your phone to call or text. Some of these ways are Facebook, Tweeter, blogs, Instagram, Pinterest, Skype, and Email. It depends on how you like to communicate with others. If you want an easy way to tell someone something and not have to call them I would say that email is for you. If you like to show or tell people what you are doing I recommend Facebook or Instagram. Blogs are a good way to express yourself, blog about what you like, your interests, what you think will interest other people. It all depends on how you like to communicate, you never know until you try. You might meet new people in the process or find yourself.

EMAIL

Email is very important to today's world. It is a quick way to tell someone something without having to call them. It is always good to know how email works. I never thought I would need an email when I was younger but now I have two. I use my email for school purposes. When a teacher needs to tell a student something they will email them. Many people also use email for work. You never know when you will need an email account so it is always good to be prepared.

IPADS AND IPHONES

IPads and iPhones are very beneficial. They make it easier to search what you are looking for without having to go to a desktop computer. An Apple ID is very important for an iPad or iPhone. An Apple ID is your gateway to other apple services like the App Store, iCloud, select built-in apps, and much more. Internet connection is also important, if you do not have Wi-Fi or internet connection you will not be able to search the web on your iPad or iPhone. There are many different setting and features on these electronic devices. Make sure you know what you are doing before you start clicking buttons. You can make your iPhone or iPads lock screen exactly how you want it to look. To change anything on your iPad or iPhone go look under settings. There is also a way to lock your phone so people cannot read your messages or emails. Apple has changed the world with these new inventions. I recommend you go pick up an iPhone today.

POWER POINT

PowerPoint is very important. PowerPoint's can be used in everyday life. Many students use PowerPoint's for projects, and many businesses use them to. PowerPoint 2013 allows you to create dynamic slide presentations. Slideshows can include animation, narration, images, videos, and much more. It is an easier way to demonstrate your meaning the by writing an essay.

COMPUTER BASICS

Computer basics not only taught me important information to know, it also taught me how to set up my computer. Computers have the ability to store, retrieve, and process data. There are also many different types of computers such as: phones, desktop, pad, laptop, and many more. Each computer has a unique way of operating. To be sure you are operating your computer correctly make sure you know what kind of computer you have. PHOTOS AND GRAPHICS

There are many things you can do to change the way a picture looks. Changing the lighting can be very important to a picture. The picture will appear darker when your back is turned to the sun. You should always avoid making and image larger then its original size. If there is something in the background you do not like you can always Photoshop it out. The Internet is an integral part of our everyday lives. But if you are new to the online experience, it may be a bit overwhelming.Today's Internet is a constantly evolving tool that not only contains an amazing variety of information but that also provides new ways of accessing, interacting, and connecting with people and content. As a result, new terms are constantly appearing.The Internet is the largest computer network in the world, connecting millions of computers. A network is a group of two or more computer systems linked together.

EMAIL

In the past, email was the best way to communicate with people online. But today, there are many different ways to talk online, allowing you to do things like:

• Make phone calls from your computer and even see the person you're talking with
• Share with lots of friends at the same time without sending an email to each of them individually
• Engage with different websites by making comments or posting your own content

BLOG

A blog is a type of website that is updated regularly with new content. Most blogs contain short, informal articles called blog posts. These posts usually contain some combination of text, photos, videos, and other media. At its core, a blog is just a space on the Web that you can create to record and express your opinions, experiences, andinterests.

If you spend much time browsing the Web, you've probably read a blog post before, even if you didn't realize it at the time. Some of the most-read blogs are a bit like online magazines because they're written by a team of people who are paid to update the blog with new posts several times a day.

WINDOW

Windows is an operating system designed by Microsoft. The operating system is what allows you to use a computer. Windows comes preloaded on most new personal computers (PCs), which helps to make it the most popular operating system in the world.

Windows makes it possible to complete all kinds of everyday tasks on your computer—for example, you can use Windows to browse the Internet, check your email, edit digital photos, listen to music, play games, and do much more.

 INTERNET SAFETY

In the past, Internet safety was mostly about protecting your computer from viruses. But today, the Internet's vast reach, constantly changing technologies, and growing social nature have made users more vulnerable to identity theft, privacy violations, and even harassment.

Introduction

Hi, my name is Alayna Aymond. I am a junior at University Academy of Cenla. I love this school because it gives me a great opportunity to get ahead in college while i'm still in high school. I enjoy cheerleading and dance. I have cheered for 3 years at CCA/UA and ive been awarded "All American". I have also danced for 12 years and was on a competition team for 3 years that  competed in Panama, FL, and Mobile, AL. A few of my hobbies are hunting, mud riding, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. My future plans are to graduate high school, go to a dance academy in Mississippi, then hopefully get a preforming job at Disney World in Orlando, FL. Or I hope to graduate high school then make plans to be a Dental's Assistant.
